En el año 1917 dos primas Elsie Wright, de 16 años, y Frances Griffiths, de 10, Salieron a pasear con su camara por la aldea de Cottingley. A la vuelta trajeron 5 fotografías que darian la vuelta al mundo y que haría correr rios de tinta hasta nuestros dias. El mismisimo Sir Arthur Conan Doyle llego a escribir un articulo sobre ellasincluso se han realizado películas basadas en aquella experiencia, como "Photographing Fairies ", Fotografiando Hadas, o "Fairy Tale - A True Story" de Warner Bros
A muchos nos parecen dibujos en cartulinas recortadas y poses forzadas ante la cámara , pero lo cierto es que las dos primas estuvieron convencidas toda su vida de que realmente fotografiaron autenticas hadas.

The Cottingley Fairies appear in a series of five photographs taken by Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths, two young cousins who lived in Cottingley, near Bradford in England. In 1917, when the first two photographs were taken, Elsie was 16 years old and Frances was 10. The pictures came to the attention of writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who used them to illustrate an article on fairies he had been commissioned to write for the Christmas 1920 edition of The Strand Magazine. Conan Doyle, as a Spiritualist, was enthusiastic about the photographs, and interpreted them as clear and visible evidence of psychic phenomena. Public reaction was mixed; some accepted that the images were genuine, but others believed they had been faked.
Interest in the Cottingley Fairies gradually declined after 1921. Both girls grew up, married and lived abroad for a time. Yet, the photographs continued to hold the public imagination; in 1966 a reporter from the Daily Express newspaper traced Elsie, who had by then returned to the UK. Elsie left open the possibility that she believed she had photographed her thoughts, and the media once again became interested in the story. In the early 1980s, both admitted that the photographs were faked using cardboard cutouts of fairies copied from a popular children's book of the time. Yet Frances continued to claim that the fifth and final photograph was genuine.
The photographs and two of the cameras used are on display in the National Media Museum in Bradford.

Grazie Mille
Hay veces en las que decir "gracias" o "muchas gracias" se queda muy corto y he compuesto este tema para simplemente eso, agradecer algo de manera muy especial.

Arábiga
Nuevo tema con aires arábes, inspirado en el desierto del Sahara. A veces hay que buscar sitios como los desiertos para encontrarse asi mismos. No se trata de buscar la soledad como tal , si no que mas bien es intentar dedicarse asi mismos un cierto tiempo, aislados del ruido y alejados de la rutina cotidiana, sin estres, en el que podamos observarnos desde dentro, escucharnos, y hablarnos a nosotros mismos. El transito por ese "desierto" puede llevarnos al infierno y encontrarnos con la parte mas oscura de nuestro ser o, de lo contrario, nos puede resultar fascinate y encontrar algo realmente maravilloso en nuestro interior.
